In 2002 Gregory Hines and Andrew J. Nemr co-founded the Tap Legacy™ Foundation with a mission to preserve and advance the art of tap dance. Since it’s founding Tap Legacy™ has earned a reputation for promoting the history of tap dance in a distinguished manner, representative of the contributors to the art form.
Supported by many of the living legends, Tap Legacy™ has produced a number of events and maintains a series of ongoing programs that aim to keep the oral tradition of tap dance alive and well.
